KeenBean Coffee Roasters is the beginning of an incredible journey. Darrell and Tracy Bradshaw first met in 1993 at the best coffee roastery in the upper northwest … Montana Coffee Traders, Whitefish Montana. Darrell was MCT’s eccentric, proven roaster; Tracy was the cheery, new-to-town retail manager of MCT‘s Kalispell store just 15 miles away. In a few short months the two personalities fell in love - then fell out of love. She joined the Peace Corps and moved to Africa. He wandered around Montana. After a year, he journeyed to the wilds of Botswana to win her back. The journey paid off : they realized that all they needed was each other and in December 1995 they were married and moved to Southwest Missouri.

Five years and three children later, KeenBean Coffee Roasters was born, bringing to life a dream that they shared from the beginning - coffee the way it should be : fresh, interesting, unpretentious.

Ah yes, there is something about coffee. The way the cup fits into your hand. The aroma that arrests you as the beans grind and brew flows. Early morning - just you and your coffee.
